I normally read Outlook from the back i.e. first the Diary portion which is quite often written by Shri Vinod Mehta. This week (10-17 May 2009) also it was Shri Mehta's piece. Where in he has introduced himself and used some popular adjectives. The following is the response that I have sent to Outlook.
Thank you, Mr Vinod Mehta. You actually did not need to write the Delhi Diary and introduce yourself the way you have to your readers, as we are well informed about these credentials of yours. The magazine in its latest issue has six articles on the electioneering campaign, out of these five are those of congress candidates and the sixth one is centered on another Gandhi. We all know that you are such a fan of the party that you are carrying out the campaign for them on your own. The cover photo is even more relevant today after 10th May display of solidarity by NDA. Though the Cong and Left are not together, but they have been portrayed differently. The leadership of both the parties are well aware that they would not get the kind of support from other parties if they are not united well in time and the Outlook is not leaving things to chance. Good job Outlook they have you as their promoters.

Elsewhere in Delhi Diary, Mr Rahul Gandhi while saying that “only 10 paisa out of every rupee spent on anti-poverty programmes reaches its destination” has not only admitted that their successive Governments which were mostly led by a congressman/woman all those years have failed till date in controlling this lapse. It would not be out of place to mention that more than a decade back our past Prime Minister (from the same party) had also admitted the same. But our innocent voters misinterpret these statements the other way round as if the leader is intending to set the mechanism right whereas he has just foretold the nation that he and his future governments, if any, are not to be held responsible if the money spent does not reach its actual recipients or beneficiaries. After all they are supposed to continue the traditions of their past leaders.

Watched 'Taare Zamin Par'. A nice thought provoking & enlightening movie. It is not that I was not aware of Dyslexia before watching this movie but what we as a parent need to do to start the treatment of this syndrome.

Why have I created this blog? I really do not know. One fine day while surfing the net and reading other peoples blog, thought me too have so much to say and describe, give my opinion on, have so much more important questions to put forth for others to ponder on, and so created the blog. Initially though I have so much to write about that my blog would go in pages and pages. Was worried too that how am I going to handle the response and the comments, for I would be raising so much mind boggling issues that no one has ever thought about and all were waiting me to think them over. But when I started to write actually, I realised how small or limited my thoughts are, after about a few lines my hands started panting for words. Why is it so? Why the words are not coming? Why am I not able to tread the thought I started the blog with? These are just a few questions I am justling with right now. And now I have decided that I would wriggle and justle with these thought in this blog.
